November 29-30 : The 2-day Nordic Test Forum, the 22nd event in the series, is a major event for Test professionals in the Nordic area and Baltic states. Every year the TestForum is attended by key people from the industry’s test community as well as by international vendors of test and measurement equipment and solutions. Keysight regional representative in Northern Europe and OpenTAP advocate 4Test exhibited and presented at this year's Forum. The presentation, on power conversion, was delivered by Tiet Poulsen.

This white paper examines the licensing and distribution options available to developers, publishers and distributors of plugins for the OpenTAP test automation platform. These plugins are created by the gamut of OpenTAP ecosystem participants – OpenTAP users, integrators and other third-parties, as well as by Keysight – and serve to expand the functionality of the platform and accommodate different hardware configurations. If you’ve created an OpenTAP plugin, it merits thoughtful consideration of licensing and distribution options.
OpenTAP was prominently featured in the OpenTAP booth (Hall 9, stand F57). Keysight's message was "Test private networks of the future, today!" with a mission to introduce Keysight (and OpenTAP) to the ecosystem as a key player in next-generation industrial networks and automation, highlighting extended test solution portfolio that includes radio planning and site acceptance, and monitoring and assuring private 5G networks, with a foundation build on OpenTAP.
The OpenTAP White Paper, Open Source in Test Automation, has been updated to reflect the migration of the OpenTAP project from GitLab to GitHub and input from reviewers. The current White Paper is Version 5.
